Elbridge Z. Smith: Associate

Mr. Smith joined Bronster Fujichaku Robbins in 2019. He is a 2007 graduate of the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, with a BA in Psychology. He is a 2013 graduate of New England Law|Boston, where he graduated on the Dean’s List, and participated in numerous mediation and negotiation competitions. He is admitted to practice by the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, the Hawai‘i Supreme Court, the United States District Court of Hawai‘i. He is a member of the National Employment Lawyers’ Association (NELA), and the International Law Section of the Hawai‘i State Bar Association.

Prior to joining Bronster Fujichaku Robbins, Mr. Smith worked at Smith Himmelmann, specializing in representing Federal Employees. He has successfully represented clients in various phases of complex Federal employment litigation (pre-complaint through appeal), including discrimination complaints before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), adverse employment appeals to the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), and security clearance issues before the Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoDCAF). He has obtained favorable trial judgments and numerous settlements through mediation.

In his free time, Elbridge enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife Jill and their dog Tessie
